The Salzkammergut Shuttle serves as an on-call and shared taxi service and supplements the existing public transport system. One aim is to minimise private transport and encourage people to switch to buses and trains. Routes that are also served by public transport are therefore only served by the Salzkammergut Shuttle outside of public transport timetable times. Details of the timetables and transfer criteria can be found on the website of the province of Upper Austria and the OOEVV route planner of the Upper Austrian public transport company.
