The family Gapp has the oldest stone- and marble turnery in austria! In the shop, you can buy these precious work pieces.

Each piece is unique

The stone "tells" us what forms it reveals. Whether large or small, vase or pendant, many shapes are possible.

We manufacture all products in our workshop in Gosau in loving handwork. For this we mainly use stone from Gosau, the so-called Dachstein marble, where you can also find fossil inclusions.

We also process precious stones from all over the world.

On request we can engrave (almost) all stones for you - a special idea for many occasions.

The Gapp Family have worked in Gosau for several generations as marble and stone grinders (the only business in the whole of Austria). Fossilised creatures up to about one million years old are found in river beds and certain rock faces around Gosau, and are cut and polished and turned into paperweights or ash trays by the Gapp family. Visitors can also visit the exhibition of rare stones, fossils, objects they have lovingly and carefully made from their prehistoric "finds" and lots more. Open daily. Admission free of charge. Parking available at the Evangelical church nearby. The exhibition is not only of geological interest. There is something there for everyone!

Experience a 360° panorama tour through Gosau valley…
