The Salzburg Cathedral is the heart and landmark of the city and shapes the cityscape of Salzburg with its magnificent marble facade and dome.

The Cathedral is open for worship from 6:15 a.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 8:00 a.m. on Sundays and holidays. For sightseeing, the cathedral church is accessible at the following times (changes are possible due to church services, concerts, etc.):

During the noon concert, the cathedral is not free for visits (conservation fee): 11:40 to 12:30!
