The chapel has its own car park and is located right next to the Zell am Moos - Haslau cycle path. Prayer groups and devotions are held there regularly, and sometimes a holy mass is also celebrated. Some special features of the chapel are the 1.60 metre tall statue of the Virgin Mary, the Sacred Heart bell in the tower and the small organ in the gallery. The chapel is intended as an invitation to silence, rest and prayer. History of the chapel
In 2001, Florian, the son of farmer Maria Pöckl, fell seriously ill. The doctors gave him little chance of survival. In their despair and out of deep faith and trust in God, Maria Pöckl and her eldest son Georg promised to build a chapel if Florian recovered. As if by a miracle, Florian survived the serious illness and made a full recovery.
In the following years, Maria Pöckl began to put aside as much money as possible for the construction of the chapel. Despite all her efforts and hard work, however, she was no longer able to realise the construction. Maria died on Good Friday, 15 April 2022.
Florian took over the estate a few years ago and implemented the initiative to build the chapel. It took almost three years for the complete exterior and interior fittings to be selected and made available. Construction finally began in March 2023 and was completed in November 2023. The chapel was solemnly consecrated to Our Lady and "Mother of Perpetual Help" on 13 April 2024 by Father Mirko from Zell am Moos.
