My house is situated in the rear Gosau valley, in the middle of meadow, forest and mountains. The flat covers the entire 2nd floor and is furnished with a double and a triple room, both with washbasin and shower. In the double room an extra bed would be possible. The new kitchen is fully equipped and the living room with corner bench, sofa bed and satellite TV invites you to relax.

The garden in front of the house can be used as a sunbathing lawn. Hammock, deckchairs, seats etc. are available. Bushes and trees offer protection from too much sun. Table tennis and barbecue can be used.

Ski storage and heating room for ski boots or wet clothes is in the garage. In winter, the cross-country skiing and skating track passes directly in front of the house. The car can be parked the whole week, as the ski bus stop is 100m away from the house, where you can be comfortably transported to the ski lifts by ski bus.

Motorway exit Golling - Abtenau, Russbach, Gosau.
Gosau: after the Pass Gschütt crossing turn right onto the Gosausee Landstraße, after approx. 6 km you will reach the Gasthof Gosauschmied on the right-hand side, turn right there and take the next entrance on the left and you will reach the holiday flat.

from Linz:
Motorway exit Regau - Gmunden, Bad Ischl, Bad Goisern, Gosau
Gosau: at the Pass Gschütt junction drive straight ahead onto the Gosausee Landstraße, after approx. 6 km you will reach the Gasthof Gosauschmied on the right-hand side, turn right there and take the next entrance on the left and you will reach the holiday flat.

from Vienna/Graz:
Motorway exit Liezen on the B320, in Trautenfels turn on Salzkammergut street B145 to Bad Aussee, turn on Koppen street through Obertraun and Hallstatt, at the Gosaumühle junction turn left towards Gosau
Gosau: at the Pass Gschütt junction drive straight ahead onto the Gosausee Landstraße, after approx. 6 km you will reach the Gasthof Gosauschmied on the right-hand side, turn right there and take the next entrance on the left and you will reach the holiday flat.

from Villach:
Tauern motorway to exit “Eben im Pongau”, via the B166 Pass Gschütt federal road to Gosau
Gosau: after the Pass Gschütt crossing turn right onto the Gosausee Landstraße, after approx. 6 km you will reach the Gasthof Gosauschmied on the right-hand side, turn right there and take the next entrance on the left and you will reach the holiday flat.

Arrival by train in "Steeg / Gosau" then continue with bus 541/542 in the direction Gosausee

By bus (irregularly on Sundays):
Bus 470 (Abtenau - Gosau) direction Gosau, stop Gosau Abzw. Pass Gschütt
change to the bus in the direction of Gosausee (Lake Gosau) , at the stop "Hintertal b. Gosau Schmiedweg" and turn right at the Gasthof Gosauschmied. Turn left at the next entrance and you will reach the holiday flat.

Bus 541/542 (Bad Ischl - Gosausee) direction Gosausee, stops Haltestelle: Gosau Klaushof, Gosau Bärnausiedlung, Gosau Ressenbachweg, Gosau Vordertal B166, Gosau Ramsau B166, Gosau, Gemeindeamt, Abzw.
