A warm welcome to the Hotel-Pension Carossa!

Our hotel is situated between St. Gilgen and Strobl on Lake Wolfgangsee in the hamlet of Abersee, surrounded by a 10,000 m² garden with a mature wooded area and large sunbathing lawn. Lake Wolfgangsee is only a ten minute walk from our house, where we have our own private bathing area for our guests to use. A cycle tour on the Salzkammergut cycle path takes you through the wonderfully picturesque landscape of the Austrian Lake District. Use the opportunity to borrow bicycles from our own bike hire - free of charge! A holiday in the heart of the Salzkammergut can be restful, culturally-appealing and active too, and one on which sightseeing can also play a big part. Our hotel-guesthouse is ideal for families with children and those folk still "young at heart”, who can enjoy a restful holiday in our hotel's warm atmosphere at any time of the year.
