Our youth guesthouse on the Tauplitzalm was until recently a 4-star hotel and has 31 rooms, around half of which have a balcony or terrace. Each room has its own bathroom with shower and WC.
In addition to the spacious and cozy dining rooms, there is also a bar and a large sun terrace. The bar offers a pleasant atmosphere for a nightcap in the evening, while the sun terrace invites you to linger and enjoy the surrounding mountain landscape, especially on sunny days.
Our hotel has a 400 m² wellness area. Here our guests can relax and enjoy the unique view over the Alm.

The youth guesthouse is perfectly located for hiking, cycling and winter sports activities. Hikes can be started directly from the house and in winter there is direct access to the ski slopes and cross-country ski trails.

The ascent is from Bad Mitterndorf via the Tauplitzalm Alpenstraße. (toll road)
In summer you can drive up to the accommodation. In winter, the car must be left at the large parking lot on the Tauplitzalm.
The walk to the accommodation is about 1.5 kilometers. Luggage is transported to the accommodation.

via the A1 Westautobahn, take the Regau exit as far as Gmunden, continue on the B145 as far as Bad Ischl, turn off into Ausseerland/Liezen

via the Tauernautobahn A10, exit at Golling, continue on B162 in the direction of Lammertal, past Abtenau to Gosau, continue to Lake Hallstättersee on the B166, keep left in the direction of Bad Goisern, turn onto the B145 in the direction of Bad Aussee/Liezen
from direction Carinthia
via the A10 Tauernautobahn, take the Eben exit, continue on the B99 in the direction of Hüttau, past St. Martin am Tennengebirge to Rußbach and Gosau, continue to Lake Hallstättersee on the B166, keep left in the direction of Bad Goisern, turn onto the B145 in the direction of Bad Aussee/Liezen
