Driving down of the cattle from the mountain pasture Gruberalm/Mayerlehenütte

Every year, the cattle drive from the Gruberalm is a fixture in Hintersee. While you fortify yourself with hearty Alpine fare and listen to the last sounds of the Alpine pastures, the animals are decorated and prepared for the cattle drive.

In case of rain, the cattle drive takes place on Sunday. If no better weather is forecast for Sunday, the cattle drive will take place on Saturday as planned.
