Specially designated nature reserve in the Europa nature reserves Mondsee - Attersee
For a few years there has been a beaver occurrence in the protected area. Observations are only possible by boat from the waterfront, preferably in the early morning hours. The traces of the beaver occurrence are clearly recognizable by means of the trees and shrubs, which are present in the winter months, as well as precipitated trees and bushes.
In the year 2016 for the first time two singing males of the Drosselrohrsänger, a rare songbird species, were detected in the protected area.

Accessibility / arrival
The nature reserve is not accessible on land. It is advisable to visit the mouth of the Fuschler Ache by boat. However, please also note the prohibition of entry, marked by wooden posts in the water.
