Description:
Every year at the beginning of Christmas Time (Advent) till Mariä Lichtmess (February 2) you can visit the crib in the church of St. Agatha.
Come and visit the landscape crib in the church of St. Agatha
This landscape crip is worth the visit!
In 2017, this nice designed Goiserian landscape crib was created during six months and in many working hours by six expert crip building artists from the Bad Goisern "Kripperlverein". 2019 it was expended with music and text.
It is located in the anteroom of the little church of St. Agatha near Bad Goisern at Lake Hallstatt on the right-hand side.
The home-related home crib shows the beautiful handpainted mountain panorama of the Inner Salzkammergut with the old smithy, which serves as a shelter for the "Holy Family", the typical Goiserian houses, the individual lifelike carved crib figures and the "Agathawirt" (located next to the church) has also a permanent place.
Discover filigree, turned balcony railings, tiny forged window grilles, or the typical "Holzknechtnockn" in a little soot pan.
The branch church of St. Agatha
The approx. 1395 small, late gothic branch church with its onion-shaped tower is known for its high altar. This is built on grotto and sandstone and was embellished around 1712 with the Calvary scene.
The church organ - a true cultural treasure from 1630 - will be renovated in autumn / winter 2021/22.
