The Vitalhotel Gosau is quietly located on the outskirts of Gosau, surrounded by green meadows and is ideal for families with children. In addition to plenty of space in and around the hotel to romp and play, the hotel offers beautiful and spacious rooms.

The unique nature around the Lake Gosau at the foot of the impressive Dachstein massif is unparalleled. In this wonderful landscape, active holidaymakers will find ideal conditions for particularly relaxing days to unwind and recharge their batteries.

In summer, hikes and mountain bike tours can be started directly from the house. The immediate towns such as Hallstatt, Bad Goisern and Obertraun can also be reached by car within 30 minutes. Our tip: be sure to visit the Salt Mine in Hallstatt and the Giant Ice Cave on the Krippenstein in Obertraun.

In winter, the Dachstein West ski area awaits you with 160km of prepared slopes and a beautiful view of the Dachstein mountains. The skiing area can be reached within a few minutes by car or you can use the free ski bus directly in front of the house. The cross-country skiing trails are only a few minutes' walk away and stretch through the entire Gosau valley.

Motorway exit Regau - Gmunden, Bad Ischl, Bad Goisern, Gosau
Gosau: At the Pass Gschütt junction, continue straight ahead onto the Gosausee Landstraße. After approx. 50 m turn left. After 200 m you will reach Vitalhotel.

From Vienna/Graz:
Motorway exit Liezen onto B320, in Trautenfels turn onto Salzkammergut Straße B145 to Bad Aussee, turn onto Koppenstraße through Obertraun and Hallstatt, at the Gosaumühle junction turn left towards Gosau
Gosau: At the Pass Gschütt junction, continue straight ahead onto Gosausee Landstraße. After approx. 50 m turn left. After 200 m you will reach Vitalhotel.

From Villach:
Take the Tauern motorway to the "Eben im Pongau" exit, via the B166 Pass Gschütt Bundesstraße to Gosau
Gosau: After the Pass Gschütt junction, turn right onto the Gosausee Landstraße. After approx. 50 m turn left. After 200 metres you will reach the Vitalhote

Train route Attnang-Puchheim - Stainach-Irdning
Arrival by train in "Steeg / Gosau" then continue by bus 541/542 towards Lake Gosau

By bus (irregular on Sundays):
Bus 470 (Abtenau - Gosau) towards Gosau, bus stop Gosau Abzw. Pass Gschütt,
follow the signs to the Vitalhotel on the left-hand side of the road. After approx. 200m you will reach the Vitalhotel.

Bus 541/542 (Bad Ischl - Gosausee) direction Gosausee, bus stop: Gosau Klaushof, Gosau Bärnausiedlung, Gosau Ressenbachweg, Gosau Vordertal B166, Gosau Ramsau B166, Gosau, Gemeindeamt, Abzw. Pass Gschütt,
follow the signs to the Vitalhotel on the left-hand side of the road. After approx. 200m you will reach the Vitalhotel.
