Welcome to the Woferlbauer holiday flat!

In our 300-year-old hereditary farm you can relax in a cosy 100 square metre flat. Here, modernity meets old, rural culture. The flat can accommodate up to 6 people and is fully equipped.

The Woferlbauerngut is located about 5 kilometres from Unterach in the immediate vicinity of Lake Mondsee  It is a house with tradition. For over 300 years, the people here have lived in close connection with nature. For a long time, agriculture in combination with various types of crafts was the basis of life for the people here. The rural character of the house and outbuildings still bears witness to this. In recent years and decades, however, there have been ongoing renovations to ensure a modern standard of living. However, the heating is still fuelled by wood chips from their own forest and the well water is used in drinking water quality from their own well. The tap water is also of very high quality and can be enjoyed untreated.

Our holiday apartment is located on the ground floor of the farmhouse. It is approx. 100 m2 in size and consists of a living and dining room, a kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed and equipped with a heating cabin, two further connected bedrooms with a double bed or 2 single beds, a bathroom with toilet, a separate toilet and a garden with seating. TV, WiFi, tablecloths, bed linen and towels are available or included.

Farm products such as herbal salt, apple juice and various liqueurs as well as eggs from happy hens can be purchased. Massages and physiotherapy treatments in the on-site practice can also be booked. For divers there is a drying room available.

Only a few minutes' walk away, you will find our bathing area, one of the most beautiful on Lake Mondsee. Deckchairs, rowing boat, barbecue and a children's playground with trampoline invite you to spend wonderful hours here.

In the immediate vicinity are the Attersee, Wolfgangsee and Irrsee lakes. The Traunsee, Wallersee and Mattsee lakes are also not far away. Many divers appreciate the proximity to some of the best diving spots in Austria.

The mountains are right on the doorstep. The Schafberg, Drachenwand and Zwölferhorn, for example, offer hikes of varying degrees of difficulty. There is also a wide selection for less experienced hikers in the immediate vicinity, such as a walk to the Egelsee lake in Unterach.

For excursions the many places worth seeing in the region, such as Gmunden or Bad Ischl, are ideal. It is also worth visiting Salzburg with its attractions and the Salzburg Festival 

In winter, you can be enchanted by the traditional Advent markets 

. St. Wolfgang, St. Gilgen, Mondsee and of course Salzburg offer a special ambience for the quietest time of the year.

Our apartment is located on the ground floor of the farmhouse. From Vienna/Linz via the A1 - exit Oberwang direction Loibichl, then left towards Unterach, at the end of the Mondsee turn left again at the campsite on the shore road.
From the west - Bad Ischl-Weißenbach-Unterach, direction Mondsee, right side of the lake at the campsite on the right.
Bahn:
From Salzburg or Linz/Vienna to Vöcklamarkt, continue with the Attergau Bahn to Attersee, continue by bus to Unterach, continue by bus towards Mondsee, bus stop in front of the guesthouse.
